These Terms of Service govern your use of the YourHomeIQ website and services. By using the site or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms.

1) What we provide

YourHomeIQ provides digital reports and educational materials intended to help Nova Scotia property owners understand PVSC assessments and prepare a stronger submission. Our products are information only. They are not a formal appraisal, not legal advice, and not a guarantee of any outcome.

2) Eligibility and location

YourHomeIQ services are intended for properties located in Nova Scotia, Canada. We may refuse or cancel orders that fall outside this scope.

3) No guarantee of results

You acknowledge and agree:

1. PVSC decisions are made by PVSC and are outside our control.

2. Your assessment may not change even if you follow our guidance.

3. We do not promise or guarantee a reduction in assessment, taxes, or any financial outcome.

4) Your responsibilities

You agree to:

1. Provide accurate information (address, assessment figures, deadline dates, and any facts you submit).

2. Review your report and use it responsibly.

3. Confirm deadlines and submission requirements with PVSC and your municipality.

5) Turnaround times

Any turnaround time shown on the site is a target based on typical workload and the information you provide. If you delay providing required information, turnaround times may extend.

6) Deliverables

Deliverables are digital. We deliver by email, download link, or both, depending on the product and workflow. You are responsible for ensuring your email inbox can receive messages from us and that you provide a correct email address.

7) Payments

All prices are in CAD unless stated otherwise. Payment is required before delivery unless we explicitly state otherwise.

8) Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy page. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Refund Policy, the Refund Policy controls for refund questions.

9) Intellectual property and permitted use

All reports, templates, text, and materials we provide are owned by YourHomeIQ or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non transferable license to use the materials for your own PVSC assessment review or appeal related purposes.

You may not:

1. Resell, redistribute, or publish our reports

2. Remove branding or disclaimers

3. Use our materials to create competing products

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

1. YourHomeIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

2. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue.

3. We are not responsible for PVSC outcomes, missed deadlines, or decisions made based on your use of the report.

11) Third party services

We may use third party tools for payments, analytics, email, or forms. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms.

12) Changes to the site or services

We may modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time. If you have already purchased a product, we will either deliver it as described or provide an appropriate remedy consistent with our Refund Policy.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
