Refund Policy
Effective date: February 15, 2024
YourHomeIQ provides digital, information only reports intended to help Nova Scotia property owners understand and prepare for a Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC) assessment review or appeal. Because our products are digital and work begins quickly after you order, our refund rules depend on timing and delivery.
1) Eligibility
You may request a refund if one of the following applies:
Late delivery: We do not deliver your report within the turnaround time stated at checkout for your purchased package, unless the delay is caused by missing information or your failure to respond to clarifying questions.
Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same order.
Service not provided: We cancel your order and do not provide the report.
2) Non refundable situations
Refunds are not provided in these situations:
You changed your mind after delivery of the report, in whole or in part.
You submit the appeal and PVSC does not reduce your assessment. We do not guarantee any outcome.
The report is delivered on time and generally matches the described scope of the package.
You provided incorrect information that materially affected the report and you did not respond to requests for clarification.
You are outside Nova Scotia, Canada or the subject property is outside Nova Scotia. YourHomeIQ is designed for Nova Scotia only.
3) Cancellation window before work begins
If you request cancellation before work starts, we will refund your payment. Work is considered started when we begin analysis or drafting. In most cases, this will occur soon after purchase.
If you request cancellation after work starts but before delivery, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund based on work completed.
